All Is Well And Handy Item

I was not going to post until a friend takes me to see the surgeon on Friday.
Guess I am not very disciplined when it comes to my friend the computer.
As I sit at my computer by the window waiting for the mail carrier to bring mail to
my cottage - the desire to share returned :)

First, to my many online friends
Thank You
from the bottom of my heart
for your comments
special emails and cards.
You are appreciated, needed and more special then you will every know...

Surgery went well
An hour later then expected.
The most caring and compassionate
doctor and staff for a first time experience in my local hospital.
Surely hope I do not return.
Very very sore and I was not given prescription for
pain medication when I left for home.  Was given a pain shot
and told to take Tylenol for pain.   Also was not given an
antibiotic prescription - was told they gave that to me through
IV while in hospital.
Yesterday was so sad, sore and the thoughts will I ever be "me" again
In the last several hours I have started moving around more
and I know I am on the
road to recovery.
Thankful this is behind me, looking forward to Spring gardening
and surely hope all is well when I see doctor on Friday.
I thank my Jamie for being with me.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I love this small home
that I began planning in my mind
about 4 years ago.
Very few inside walls, very open and part has vaulted ceiling.
With the openness and the two story ceiling
it looks larger then the actual square footage.
Do wish my bathroom was a bit
larger and would like a little more storage space.
I did not arrive in time for this framing project and my
closet is larger then my bathroom and
should have been the other way around.
But fine since just the one closet for One Woman
 for all seasons
of my old but not fine wearing apparel.
Had an idea of something I had seen
advertised in the past.  Basically they are
advertised for travel but I ordered one from
Amazon and hung on inside of small
linen closet.   This sure beats fishing through
a basket for an item.
I like it.
Hope it does not fall off the door :)
Yes Ma'am, One Women is resting at the edge of the woodland! Yippee. I am happy. You know of course, your woodlands miss you, when you are gone, the woodland listens for your return.
Interesting information about your home. Little tidbits such as this make me feel more at home.
I am loving your Amazon purchase. I am ordering one for my bathroom door. It will free up room in the small bathroom. RV's have limited space.
Thanks for posting so soon.
Happy Healing and Renewed Strength. ((hugs))
Oh hello my dear, I am HOPING that you are really on the bumpy road to recovery. Glad you had Jamie too. I had my pal Ginny to help me.
I am now getting Jeff out of bed and walking him along the flat garden pathways. I started to say something to him and he said, "are you going to ask me to help trim the sage?" I just laughed.
Like your organization in your perfect little Woodhaven.
Sending love,
S
I do worry when you do not post for a while. I know you have children to look after you, but I still worry. You sound so upbeat and on the mend, so I am now relieved! Great idea for storing many items and better than reaching down into a basket. Maybe I will try something like this on the back of my bathroom door.
great to hear from you! i am stunned that they did not send you home with a few pain pills. strange. so glad you are on the mend and doing well. i know you are going to be very bored in another day or so! so happy this is behind you.
great little organizer you have. (works great for jewelry.) i also use the sturdy plastic bin containers which have a handle across the top for organizing things under our bathroom sinks like shampoos, creams, lotions, etc. easy to pull out for access, and everything is organized and easy to find. in fact, we often take one with us on road trips to keep our bath and grooming items in since it allows for everything to remain in one place, easily accessible in the hotel bathroom. also, it is easy for me to locate something in the van while we are traveling if there is a need.
rest and enjoy your excursion to the doc on friday. by then you will probably have cabin fever and be happy to get out for a while. the soreness will disappear as you move around more. so good to hear you are healing so well!
So good to hear from you and happy you're mending well. A little blue feeling is to be expected after what you've been through. There's no place like our home surroundings to bring us back to normal. And I enjoyed seeing part of your home.
