Heart Felt

Received a package from Thailand.

How do you describe a card that is what your imaginary garden would look like? This card does it so well. Inside my son has written some special quotes for his mother. From time to time I will share a quote. They are received with much love and appreciation as continued guidance and thoughts on my ongoing journey through this life.

A book I have been trying to find. Unavailable on Amazon - was received.

"Snow In The Summer" by Sayadaw U Jotika.

On the inside cover ----- I'm not just a monk;
I'm also a human being.
I"m not trying to be somebody.
I just try my best to understand
whatever is happening
in my life, in my mind,
in my heart.
No name and no fame;
when I die
nothing will remain.

So - mom is teary eyed and can feel the love coming to her from over the ocean.

Enjoy this weekend. My weather is delightful. Cool mornings and pleasing warmth in the afternoon. Need rain!!!!

We got 10 inches in 24 hours. You should have been here! It was spooky and brought down lots of little branches...no tree thankfully.

Tabor, send some my way. It is like the desert. Just came in fron watering. Everything in my garden is new and do not want to lose them.

I would love it if someday you shared more about raising your son - what he was like as a young boy (from a mother's perspective, of course!)-was he always deeply intuitive, centered?

LR - difficult to find the right words to share. A very smart, sensitive, handsome and popular young man. The climax of a family structure had a deep impact on my son and older daughters. The path he has chosen is his road to peace and kindness to all. It saved him and his guidance is saving his mother. Without going into detail - hope this is somewhat of an answer. I miss your posts :)

I love the little verse inside the cover of your book, somehow it spoke to me. The weather here is very wet, day after day of rain. The lawns are emerald in colour but Autumn has well and truly arrived with deep reds and golds on trees and shurbs. Soon it will be time for fires, stay well and all blessings from a little village in the Lincolnshire Wolds

It sounds like areas of the country are having diverse weather. We have had our share of rain with more in the forecast later this week. That's better than drought, I suppose, but it would be nice to have a few days of sunny clear weather in a row.
