The thought keeps entering my mind of stopping this online diary? When it was started I wondered what am I going to write about? Seems I have had no problem of continual thoughts and image opportunities coming forth. Soon to be 500 entries, and that is almost unbelievable to this One Woman.
That thought will surface and then I remember why I started writing online. I read my words - "for my pleasure, my children, and my grandchildren". That has not changed.
Just did not foresee that I would meet so many wonderful online friends. You read my rambling personal thoughts, quotes that speak to my heart, view images of my life. I continue to share some of my past, present and future. Dear online friends I have not met any of you in person but so many of you have become so very special to me. I thank you for your comments and encouragement over the last 2 1/2 years.
A special gift that I treasure - A copy of "Crone Wandering" from Cate http://www.kerrdelune.blogspot.com/. - was in my mailbox yesterday. This poem was posted in November of 2009.
I plan on placing it in a frame and putting it on my desk. The words speak to my heart, mind, soul and spirit in a very deep way.
Wish I could gather all of you together. We would sit in front of a fire and enjoy tea and something I have baked. As you came in the door I would hug you and there would be a smile on my face and tears in my eyes.
I guess I will continue sharing and learning how to use a camera. If anyone other then family cares to read about a lady who shares in part - what it is like to grow older and follow her heart - it makes me smile.
Guess, I really cannot stop.

I hope you don't quit writing your posts to this blog, as I feel we are both on the same path and I like to see how you are moving through our "third age"--helps keep me going.
Funny you have this thought because I have been wishing you were a part of Jan's Buddha Chick course because you have such insight and wisdom. I hope you continue to share.
no.. you can't stop blogging. You can pause as long as you like, but you can't stop. And I'm glad you've decided not to stop. : )
No, you cannot stop. There are those of us who check in daily to see if you have posted.

Hi Ernestine...I feel that we are "kindred spirits" and I would miss reading your wonderful posts. Just keep writing about your life as it happens...so many of us are on the same path. Balisha
Congratulation – 500 posts! I have been blogging for over a year and have only written 88 posts or so. I don’t know when I’ll get to 500! Of course my posts are quite long, so I post only once a week. Even so, I don’t think that so many people are interested in mine. I am pleased that you have made many friends – it shows that your posts are very enjoyable.
Judy, Sharon, Sallysmom, Balisha, Vegabond and Dear Jessi - thanks for commenting. I am not going anywhere - just wonder how I have so much to say. Also someone emailed me that did not have an account to comment. Her comment was touching.
well, i feel like we DO know each other! i enjoy reading about your life and have always enjoyed our emails. was interesting to read about ronni's blog-friend gathering planned for this month. i may try to attend if she has another one. portland is only 3 hours away.
when we eventually make it to the nashville area, i will invite you to meet us for lunch in the city and sure hope you'll agree to come!
Sky, if it is meant to be - it will be - I will be there. Who knows you might like to visit a cottage in the woods :)
If Portland is that close - you should go - if possible. Have a good weekend. Still need rain.
please oh please don't stop! We would miss you terribly...you are a vital part of this online community! I noticed at Angela's that you are interested in SoulCollage....I can send you the how too's and get you started, then if you want I would be happy to do a lev b'lev (heart to heart) reading with you over the phone. I've done this with Jan (awake is Good) and with Carolynn (a glowing ember) I would be honored to offer this service to you as well...who knows maybe we can even start an online support circle...so many possibilities...living far apart cannot keep us from connecting and BEING a real community...because we are!
xo
Laura, thank you for the encouraging words. Just when I looked at how many entries - I shook my head. I think it is because I am a one on one person.
Do not do well around a lot of people. I love writing and I will keep on and will see what else there is to write about :)
What you create is so beautiful. I do not think I have talent in that way and stay busy with my gardening, images, reading and family and doing most around the cottage with very little help. I appreciate your kind offer and will think about it. Wish we lived near one another. Could something like this be done online?
Special friend - sleep well..
Like a tree,
well rooted
yet enriching
the earth
with its shade;
the little plants
that grow below,
creepers
that delight
in her support,
and crawlers
that
enjoy the wooded
playing field;
she enjoys
teaching other trees
how to stand tall
in the face of
unplanned winds
and storms.....
There is
so much to tell.
Every season
a new color,
a new flavor,
in her little home garden
where she
plants so much care
and reaps
the joy
of writing
such lovely words......
Keep writing !
Ugich - thank you so very much.
