Beautiful fall picture. I love old barns and just don't like it when they are torn down and replaced with a metal building.Old structures like these have so much character and I can just imagine the stories they could tell..Have a relaxing day, Balisha

Balisha, thank you, I agree about the metal barns. Everywhere I look the wonderful old barns are falling down when I wish they had been restored.

Our area has tobacco barns and they lie derelict because the government gave the farmers money to stop growing tobacco.

The photos transport me back into my childhood memories in Quebec and making our way to our grandparents' home. Along the way, we passed countless buildings like those you have captured.

Tabor and Lilalia, years ago I never paid much attention to these barns. Now they look beautiful to me. Yes, a lot of barns are empty in my area because of the tobacco buy out in this area.

Love the colors. Your photos speak to scenes all over this country ~ in all directions there are country roads. I marvel at how much beauty can still be found.

Isn't it wonderful the way Fall lights up the beauty of these old barns? We saw so many on our recent trip to Canada. Thank you for your keen eye which has allowed us to enjoy these treasures, too.
