The woods surrounding my cottage are cool and leaves beginning to color and fall.
My small terrace is warm and sunny all afternoon.

Dead heading the annuals. Soon the frost will take them. I need to cut back my perennials, but with this new hip, I am not to bend over as yet. What to do. What to do.
That basil is nice and close for picking from that chair!

We had frost here a couple of nights ago but it is warming back up again. I love your place to sit. It is beautiful there. We need rain so bad.

What a beautiful spot. I just planted "winter survivor" pansies to have a bit of color this fall, and hopefully they will return in the spring.
