Healing

A busy week with my youngest granddaughter's visiting. Then the little one that punctured her eardrum "playing with a Q Tip - had outpatient surgery to repair her eardrum. A short time of a lot of pain and not being able to hold anything on her stomach (think it was the morphine used for pain) yesterday seemed almost back to normal at play time. Now little ear - heal completely.

Yesterday was the appointment in the big city for my dreaded tooth extraction. Only one tooth pulled in the past and it was a whiz. Now this was different. The tooth crumbled and broke off - so - what seemed like forever - tooth was out. A little sore this morning. I didn't plan on gum being cut and stitches. Might add that through my healthy younger years I never heard of Sjogrens - something that seems to have attached itself to One Woman - which seems to not be to good for her mouthful of teeth.
Wherever you are - enjoy the day!!

A beautiful and sunny day is expected and all is well in the woods.

oh your sweet grand daughter...I'm so happy her surgery went well! I pray that you are not in terrible pain from your tooth extraction and that help is on the way for the rest of your teeth and gums. I will pray for you dear one.

gentle steps,
laura

Isn't she the cutest? Those pink gloves seem to have helped her forget what was going on. Hope she heals quickly and that that her ear is OK.
I hadn't heard of Sjogrens.I had to look it up.It seems that this is another problem that some of us will have to deal with...going into our older years. I hope that you don't have anymore trouble with this. Have a nice weekend and take it easy my friend. Soft foods... Balisha

Sorry about your new challenge but take a note from that sweet smile that your little gal is showing as she faces her challenge.

Laura, you make me smile and I love that red hair :)If I was brave enough I wish I could do one crazy thing! Balisha, I never heard of this disorder before, severe dry mouth and eyes is how it is affecting me. I am believing it will go away and it sure could be a lot worse. Balisha and Tabor, yes this little girl is something - always makes me smile and feel loved !!

My son had his eardrum patched when he was eleven. His was due to so many infections....he did great. Hope the little one does well....

so glad your granddaughter is doing well in her healing. scary when a little one is hurt, especially when they are in pain like she was!

sounds like our week here! my appt with dentist is monday. broken crown - its jagged edge is irritating the inside cheek. eye inflammation related to very small amount of fluids being produced. seems like it is always something and I WANT A BREAK and good health fo at least one year! :) hope you will be back to normal in a few days. soup is the preferred meal here for the moment!

Sky, thank you for visiting. Sorry about your problem. I finish my antibiotic tomorrow. Doing fine and soup is what I have been eating for 3 days :) I can relate to the eye dryness.
We will be fine :)
