We went to the pumpkin patch - rather two. Found a place nearby to get fresh eggs. Stopped at the local church to show off my girls.
Lunch at the great local drug store.
They love the path in my woods. Caity, kept saying "my mom will love this".

What a beautiful blog with beautiful people in your life. So glad you found your earring yesterday--miracles never cease! As to your question re: do you go with your heart or your mind, I'm a heart woman.

Sky, Balisha, Judy and Beverly, thanks for visiting.
Beverly you are right. Still can hardly imagine I found that earring. I have worn them for many many years - almost every day.

I bet they just love coming out to your place. They are so cute and them being in the back of the truck reminded me how mine used to always ride in the back when we were on the farm. I bet an animal carried that earring out there and laid it on the trail. My husband lost a sterling silver snuff can lid one time. It fell out of his pocket into a pond. Several days later he found it lying on the pond bank. A muskrat had carried it to shore I guess! Have a good weekend.

I copied your pumpkin bread recipe and shall make it presently. I did not know you could root basil in water. I still have some basil in planters on the porch - I’ll try rooting them. Luckily we have had no frost yet. Your granddaughter’s note was sweet. This week-end we will see our two grandsons, they cannot write yet though as they are 2 and almost 4 years old. We will be driving to Nashville so I hope we will see pretty fall colours along the way. Your granddaughters are lovely.

The thing that I first noticed were all the bright, beautiful colors in these photos. Then the smiles!

So glad you found your earring. Finding something I've lost can make my day.

Judy, Vegabond and Sharon, thank you for visiting. Yes, the colors at this time are beautiful. I am going to make pumpkin bread again on Saturday. So pleased I found my earring. Wonder if a squirrel picked it up and put it on the path. Does not matter just really something that it was laying right in the middle of my path.

Mermaid - thank you for the comment. I think "maybe" the pictures are prettier then what I actually see:). The little goats are at a neighbors.
You are welcome to come and see me !!! I am out in the middle of no where.
