Smile

Her daughter forwarded this image to her.

Deer looking in the window.

One Woman would surely smile if she was able to capture this image at her home in the woods. Or would she???

It looks like the 3 day rain has stopped. The sun was out for a little over an hour.

She walked the long gravel drive. It made her realize that she has not been walking regularly since moving to the country. She has always walked daily. So her walking began today!!!

It is so good - to be feeling well again.

Walking is the very best thing for mind, spirit and body, I think. I just did a 3 mile walk in the woods today and am feeling good about myself. That deer would intimidate me just a little. I like the deer to be just enough afraid of me that they leave when they see me.

oh, ernestine, this photograph is wildly appealing, perhaps my favorite of the moment. if your daughter took this she should send it in to a magazine like "Country" who would publish it, i am sure! greattttttt shot.

i would love it if a deer gazed into our sliders and watched us carefully. the kitty is funny - not a bit scared and seems quite curious or amused.

verif word is "uncle!"

Tabor, I truly know how good walking is for the mind, spirit and body, I have always walked.
Seems with the busyness of the past year it just did not happen.
Sarah Lu, thank you for visiting.
Sky,my daughter's motherinlaw sent her this picture. But it lifted my spirt. All, have a great day.
Looks like more rain coming in!!

I'm with you. I don't want a deer on my back porch, especially one with antlers. Of course it makes a wonderful picture on someone else's deck. Enjoy your walks. I think of them as moving meditations.

Cloudhands, getting ready to turn this "thing" off. Looks like more rain coming in. Need to run a few errands and then in the house for a few more days. Will be pleased when my cough is gone. Have a great day. Looks like more rain for me and probably the same for you.

Walking is the best medicine. Need to do more myself.

how was your walk? did you take photos? :)

One of these days I am sure you'd capture a photo similar to this.

I wish I can visit you in your Country Home - sounds so peaceful to me!
