Evening In The City

I very seldom am outside in the evening. With family visiting I am up later then usual.

Yesterday evening as I was looking down the street in front of my home I was pleased that it was not to dark to take this image.

I have found over the years with my digital that I have whole folders (electronic) of pictures of sunsets. They are so easy to get with a digital camera and some tweaking.

I love that picture. Have you ever heard the old saying about "Red sky at night, sailor's delight, Red sky in the morning, sailor take warning! This picture made me think of that saying. We did get some rain last night and boy did we ever need it.

Beautiful! I'm not out enough in the evening, either. I should - it's a whole other, lovely world. You've encouraged me to just go out and walk around a bit.
