Cold wind is blowing
another day of Winter
but not the heavy snow of some areas
just a few days ago it seemed like Spring.
It is still dark outside
I see lights in the distance
when I moved to this area 40 years ago
I saw no lights, just total darkness.
I turn on my computer
to see if any news from California
where he landed last night.
On to Nashville where friend will pick him up
he will spend the night and my helper will pick him up in the morning
to bring him to the country cottage.
Yesterday morning
at the hospital
ultra sound on many areas
Gall Badder surgery 9 years ago
then a year later repair of hernia in that area.
once again something does not feel right.
This mentioned to doctor several times and nothing checked.
Thankful for specialist I mentioned it to
and a lot being checked
thought I was knowledgeable of this area
but guess not as I looked at images of what is packed in there.
Did not know the aorta came through that area.
Unsettled and will have results in a day or two.
Stir Fry has been requested for tomorrow's meal.
Made with vegetables and Shrimp
easy and healthy
always easy to please
but did say "no rice."
Seems it should be getting light
but not yet.
Been up a long time.....
I smile at the pictures sent of my youngest granddaughter's Birthday celebration
Sleep over for friends and in that home
they took over the den, blankets, pillows, and laughter through out the night.
Special girl, grandma loves this picture of a few years ago....
Jamie, you are probably still recovering :)

Blessings on you dear Ernestine!
Have a lovely day today and a wonderful time with your loved one. :-)
Love, hugs & prayers for you ~ FlowerLady
If "something" doesn't feel right, it is good to get it checked out.
I expect we will hear nothing by silence from you the next few days, as you enjoy the time with your son! I am sooooooo happy for you.
Ernestine, have a wonderful visit with your son! I know the time will seem to drag by until he's with you.
It's very cold here this week; the wind makes it worse than it really is. So many of my flowers have come alive from their winter sleep and so I'm having to put covers on some at night.
Take care ~ xoxo
Your son coming is a great healing in the spring and good for both of you. I do love my rice with stir-fry though. Glad you have helpers and hope you get some photos of your time together.

Thanks to each of you for thinking of me.
Oh yes
today is dragging by and so cold.
Need one more run to to market
but not in this cold.
I like rice also, do not know why he requested non
will make a small portion for me.
So happy your boy is coming! Lots of blowing and snow up here.
I feel I'm waiting for him too. I hope you get you health sorted and soon. I had the same experience. 4tg doctor diagnosed me. 😪. We trust them too much.
Enjoy the boy.

Nan, have a granddaughter in N.Y and grandson in Washington.
WWW, thank you, it has been a year since I have seen my son.
Keep saying I will stop going to doctors and do all I know
so weary of visits.
Can only imagine the pleasures of this day.
As sun sets, bask in the quiet beauty of each others company.
Sleep deep.
Peace. Inside and out.
Waiting -- the time passes slowly. May you enjoy the visit.
A beautiful post and so happy to be reading it!
Excited for you. :-) Wishing you a wonderful time!
Hi Ernestine,
How nice it is to know your beloved son is visiting. Your preparation and meal sound wonderful and delicious.
Enjoy every minute and wishing you good luck on the test results. Seems like we really do have to speak up, and loudly, to have our concerns heard.
The blizzard came through Cape Cod and we had a few hours of HEAVY snow, followed by sleet and heavy rain that took it all away. The winds were very strong and scary and we were without power many hours. It remains really cold here and we are having snow again on the weekend. Inland from us in western MA and into NY State the snow is 3-4 feet deep. It was a mighty storm!
The best to you,
Marcia
