A Good Week

A good week with one of my daughters spending the week with me. She and my son-in-law are now living in Tampa and her two children attend the local university not far from where I live. It is a special time. The bottom picture not the best of my Jamie ( the top one is good of her) but it is the only one including my special son.
Happy that my son and daughter and family are all home safely from their travels.
It has rained off and on all week and looks like it will be continuing through the weekend.
I am excited about Sunday as it will be the first time my son, youngest daughter and these two little ones will view Grandma's new creation.
I am contemplating driving up this morning. I do not like to drive in the rain and hopefully will miss it. I have not been to the country since the first of the week and want to see the progress. I know the plumber and electrician are working and maybe some windows being installed.
Hopefully sometime in the future all of my children and grandchildren can be with me.
Friends who check in with me - Have a great weekend.

Entry from One Woman this early Friday morning.

So glad you are having time with your kidlets. Hope the rain stays away long enough for you to go to the house. How long a drive is it?
Have a great weekend.

I awoke earlier than planned this morning and just couldn't get back to sleep. In this quiet household I intended to pad downstairs with a book, but decided to get onto "the box" and check email. I've been a lax blogger in so many ways these days -- too much outdoor time, too much fun indoors with my family (a wonderful antidote to blogging).

I popped on to see what you were up to and I fell into a gentle read of this and that and the other without any ranting or whining (we all despise mud, so that's not whining) or silly nonsense to eat up my time. Just simple musing, gentle sharing, and a wealth of love and concern for family. I enjoyed my time with you immensely!

I am now off with that book in search of a cup of tea, but I just wanted to pause and send greetings to you this early Saturday from a kindred who also enjoys her simple life. : D

Sky, thank you for this early morning comment. Yes it is rainy and cold in my area. It has been a pleasant and difficult week for me. Enough said. I keep going to your website for a new entry.
Have a good day and thank you again for your online friendship.
