Young Talent

On this cold day
will share
my young granddaughter's art work.

Looking for this image that Jamie sent I kept downloading a picture I took on this property
in the past : )

This one continues onward
learning all she can about Sjogrens Syndrome and Rheumatoid Arthritis
guess it is what it is , I always believed in miracles but not happening at this time.
Ever thankful for a little help, Arthur the Therapist  and it did not begin until age 78,  Just never thought with my healthy lifestyle that I would be dealing with this.   Was not thinking
realistically as we will all have to deal with some health issue as time goes on.

Really like the small hot water bottle I ordered from Amazon, a perfect size to fit at your
back or shoulders.

Thankful that my Jamie and a young granddaughter visiting tomorrow
and that my son will be arriving from far over the ocean in the weeks to come :)

Beautiful pics. So sorry to hear of your ongoing challenges. Growing old is not for sissies is it. I've got enough health issues at the moment too. I commiserate.

You are hardly a sissie. You will certainly be my positive example. We all face challenges and it would be impossible to prepare for them by focusing on them while trying to live our life. I wait until something happens and then deal with it or attempt to deal with it at that time. That artwork is so nice and I am sure it brings you smiles when you look at it. I have artwork from my grandchildren and even my son and love it.

What a talented granddaughter....
Your past healthy lifestyle and current challenges show that sometimes we can't "pick our poison". No telling what you averted by healthy habits.
I still need to order me a hot water bottle.
Thanks for reminders :)
Sounds like you have some wonderful things to look forward to.
Let peace and gratitude fill your hours. ♥

Your granddaughter's art is beautiful! It has a very peaceful feeling.

Just imagine what you might be dealing with had you not lived such a healthy lifestyle! Or how much earlier it may have started. At 52, I already have to avoid certain foods because they cause my arthritis to flare up.

Sending good energy!

I was trying to explain to my nearly 60 year old son-in-law who wants a wood burning fireplace instead of a gas fireplace in their new living room
"Are you sure you will feel up to chopping wood."
"Why?"
"Because, one day you can do all of it and then it seems, the next day you can't because of arthritis or a bad back and you won't want to have to chop wood all day."
He looked at me like I had two heads. We never think about not being able to do all we do, in our 50's or even 60's. Then all of a sudden, or so it seems, the joints ache and stiffen, we get tired quicker and..............................guess my kids will find out just as I did. I NEVER thought I'd get to the point where I no longer could mow my own lawn or work in the gardens for 6 hours straight. But--here I am. Dagnabbit!!!
