"Comfortable With Uncertainty" by Pema Chodron
"Awakening The Spine" by Vanda Scaravelli
Both of these books were recommended by her son. He will soon be arriving in the states and this mom is so "happy".
Vanda Scaravelli, lives in a villa on a farm outside Fiesole, among the hills of Florence, surrounded by cypresses and olive trees. It would be a dream come true to visit her. She was born in 1908.
"Love Heals by Shannon Peck" - I do not remember where I read about this book.
It may have been from one of my favorite sites http://www.mermaidhealing.blogspot.com/
Have a peaceful weekend - wherever you are on the planet!!!
Oh, I have bluebirds visiting my houses.

An honor, sweetie. Really. I'm afraid I can't take credit for that book, but I'm touched you thought of me.
That little bird has so much to say. Enjoy your reading!
scaravelli would indeed be fascinating to visit or have lunch with! yoga has been a real source of relaxation and a true release of muscle pain for me. the stetching and deep breathing are so good for us. hope you enjoy these reading days ahead. perfect activity for the chilly rain.
Mermaid, thank you for visiting, Sky, yes the relaxation of Yoga is surely welcome. Working on my posture!!!!
Upon a borrowed computer (mine appears fatally-flawed at the moment . . . sigh!) I come to say "Hi" and delight in the thought that that I too shall be reading this day. I love to spend the day of Rest resting with a book in hand. Our ever-so-chilly wintry days (will spring never arrive?) and a lack of computer for rambling out blogposts has left me in a simply delightful state nonetheless as I have books and family and plenty of tea. Life smiles on me.
I have caught up with your mindfulness and have many prayers tucked into my heart talks that bear your name. Be well sweet one. I shall pop in again when my machine heals or gives way to a new beast for my breaking. (I do so prefer the old in this case . . . familiarity breeds contentment and ease in this respect.)
Greetings of joy to you! : D
Just want to add one book to the stack by your side: Solitary Summer by Elizabeth (v.Arnim) - I just finished this century old book in which nothing happens - and I came away charmed and thoughtful - with One Woman in mind. Have a happy day!
Debbie, thank you for checking in.
LR - I just checked out the book.
I am ordering. You are correct, it is me. But then I have answered my telephone and let a few people near my woods. Thank you again!!! for passing this on.
