The Chef Glows

One thing I am sure of
my granddaughter is where
she is suppose to be.
Looked at this image
that just arrived
and the thought came to mind
 she looks so happy.

So much  has to fall in place
for this dear girl
but in my Heart I know it will.

Check out her recipe for a Watermelon Smoothie
today 8/7/12
on my daughter's blog http://blondemomblog.com

There has been so much going on in my
little world
for the last 5 days.
Thankful to be in better spirits,
thankful for special emails from two other grandchildren.
One sent me special scented soap from Maine
and one took the time to write his grandmother
from the desk of his new job in Washington, D.C.

Thankful for caring calls and emails,
thankful that I was able to overcome some
issues.  Issues that seemed to be trivial to
some, ignored by others and then there
were those that understood they were
important to me.

A time has come about for me to reevaluate
much at this particular time in my life.
So I choose to look at these issues
with the mindset
that it was good....

Errands this early morning
weather has turned absolutely beautiful.
All is lush and green and when driving
down my long gravel road I gave a sigh
of relief to be home and the peace and
beauty of the woods seem to saturate
my soul....

We all need downtime to reflect. I debated writing to you, checked out our favorite haunts for your comments and decided if you needed a friend you knew where to find me. This morning I spent time staring at fish in the pond. Mesmerizing ~ wasted time? No, not for me. So glad you checked back in to your world and ours.

Happy you feel content now, and your environment is lush and green.

I guess we do not know the real good unless we get some of the bad. So glad your roller coaster is on the way up these days. Hang in there. And yes, she DOES look so happy.

I wondered where you were. It seems we worry when our favorites take a day or two off. Hope you are doing well...soon the weather will be fallish and we will be preparing for winter. Then we will wonder what next year will bring. As we age...we become more cognizant of our health and well being.A time to reflect...we all need that.

Your grand daughter does "glow" My vegetarian daughter has the same complexion. So healthy looking. A very pretty girl.

Have a nice weekend coming. It's to be cooler here...I hope in your area too.

howdy! glad to see you back in the saddle again. wondered if all was ok and glad to see it is. rocky roads still linger here as you know, but we are moving forward as best we can and making some progress. so much ahead, but
i remind myself about moving through each day singularly so as not to overwhelm myself.

it is hard for others to fully understand our journeys - after all, they are ours to understand and finish. so don't let it concern you when reactions are not what you might like. after all, when you are in need of real help those who matter always show up.

sending love and good wishes and a big smile.

I miss my grandma when I read this. I wish she was alive and I could bring her to this country...

I was missing you and kind of worried. Glad things are smoothing out--we just keep moving forward.
