FEELING LOVED

Lunch today
with some special ladies.
They are so good to me.

One in back 90 years young.
One from Florida 86
and her sisters
the twins 82 and One Woman.
Wonder if I will make it this far
on the pathway of life?

When lunch was finished
some  were headed for shopping center
and asked if I wanted to go.

No way, I was finished for the day.
May be because I got up at 4:30
and the Sjogrens.

One was headed back home to take care
of her bedridden husband of 89.

One Woman has a problem
that is growing
guess what
she does not like to leave the
woods.   But I was so pleased
I ventured out
even in the 100 degree temperature....

Hi Ernestine..So glad you got out. Sometimes we need to just get out of the house. I don't go much either, but once in a while I do and I know it's good for me.
You look so pretty in coral. Have a nice afternoon.

Wonderful that you still have your friends to spend time with. You know I don't like to leave home, but am always glad to have friends come to me.

I can see those later years creeping up on me!

Good friends and good food ~ glad you had a satisfying outing. The nicest part of a successful day is remembering it.

so glad you left the woods for communion with friends. too much isolation robs of us shared love and joy.

do the twins live together? think it is so cute they dress alike and wondered if that is made easier by dressing in the same house! you, my dear, are beautiful - as always.

How wonderful!!! I know what you mean about not wanting to leave the home area, but we need to do it, every once in awhile. You ladies are all so beautiful!!!

So glad you reached out and connected with others. Solitude and connection, solitude and connection, just like the ebb and flow of tides. You'll know when you need one or the other, or both:)

I too know people who are aged and still going strong, which makes the prospect less daunting. We'll see what comes when it comes.

Friends are valuable at any age, wish I had some, rather than pleasant acquaintances.

Lynn, Sky, Marcia, Sandy, Judy, Friko and Judy,
Thanks so much for visiting.
A rough 3 days - think they are behind me...

You are so fortunate to have friends nearby with whom you can occasionally gather. Do make the most of such opportunities, treasure them, since the older we become the frequency of such occasions seems to diminish for many reasons.

joared, seems everyone I was close to years ago when living in this area - has left the earth.
they are all older then me but so kind to me - that is what is important at the moment....
