Another Beginning

Little girl - it is up to you........grandma did her part.

A good lunch and then on to the guitar store. She was holding guitar correctly and even knew how to use the pick. She picked out a silver guitar. Told grandma that silver was her favorite color. News to me!!! She was so serious and professional in the store. Maybe this will nourish the seed that grandma recognized.

A beautiful warm and sunny day. Need some rain.

My little one asked "grandma, how do you get old"? She replied "one day you are young and it seems like the next day you are old". "But how did you get there, is it because your a grandma?" ---- "I really do not know - I am still trying to figure it out -it just seemed to happen."

Two more "serious questions." "Grandma, how come we take our shoes off at your house?"

and - get this - "Grandma, have you ever been married?"

A day in One Woman's journey through this life

Send her to my blog. You get old 'one Day at a Time.' Shameless plug. I am impressed by the guitar and I am sure you will enjoy this talent in years to come.

Tabor, why did I not think of that? I smile when I read that header. Forgive my aging mind!!!
I will surely remember. That is the way it is "One Day At A Time"
She ask so many questions. They make me smile.

I had to laugh when she asked if you had ever been married. Kids really do say the funniest things!
She will always remember this day when grandmother took her to the guitar store.

Judy, it was a special time. She was so pleased and it made me happy to please her. I never know what her and sister might say.
You have that coming up with your little one!!

curious little cookie...smart! glad she is thinking and trying to figure things out. love the pic of you and the music star in front of the shop - she will treasure that photo always. :)

by the way, you can tell her for me that i have had the very same question she has. HOW did i get this way? one day i was young and strong and energetic; then whammmoooooo - i was OLD. it did seem to happen overnight. some old, wrinkled fairy must have come in through my bedroom window and sprinkled me with some kind of aging dust. :((

How lovely that you are introducing your sweet granddaughter to music at an early age. It will be a blessing for a lifetime.

So funny, the one day at a time.....I hope she continues to love playing the guitar. Isn't it awful not to be able to do what we once could. Thanks to the person who came by....
