My Buddy

Life is a book that we study,
Some of its leafs bring a sigh,
There it was written, my buddy,
That we must part, you and I
My buddy, my buddy, no buddy quite so true.
Miss you
Just long to know that you understand,
My buddy, your buddy misses you.

Some of the words from "My Buddy" by Gus Kahn

My son lost his much loved pet "Buddy" about a year ago in November.
Sometimes when I look across the street at my son's cottage I can see Buddy sitting by the front door.

Buddy you are missed.

Buddy was such a beautiful dog and your son is so nice looking. I know you both miss Buddy a lot.

I have always felt that those we love never really leave us. I am sure thats true for Buddy too....

I often feel as if our pets are lingering just outside our memories waiting to be brought home.

I sometimes think I will never stop missing my little Bichon, Charlie. I find myself thinking, "Come on Charlie. It's time for bed." And when I finish a box of ice cream I wish he were here to lick the inside.

Judy, Ugich, Tabor and Darlene
thank you for your kind comments.
This morning I had the thought to go to the shelter to see what dog is there that needs my love. I will wait awhile. Has to be one that likes children and also will like going to the country and walking in the fields with me.
Just hate to walk in the country with a dog on a leash and if I let it run loose it will chase the wildlife. Some of my thoughts.
I need another Sadie. She was perfect.

They are all perfect! You'll find just the right one. I think you know my girl has two pugs, and they are perfect. My two big black dogs are too, even the one who only likes her family. They all make me smile. I can't wait to see who you find. There are a lot of wonderful family dogs, and the akc website is a good place to find out which breed suits you best.
