I sometimes feel like that branch...slowly breaking away from the family tree trunk.

Interesting ~ an ordinary thing we see often, but when put in this form it takes on a new meaning. I love Judy's comment!

lil red hen and Judy
thank you
just never thought of it like you Judy.
I just saw a tree and a heart
and thought how I love trees
and they have a heart.

Because you said in your comment that you had made great changes I scrolled down here and found out just what it is you have done. I wish you the very best of luck. It is good sense to get help during the hardest winter months, get closer to family and carve out a niche for yourself in a place where kind people look after you.

Dear Ernestine (may I call you that?) take good care of yourself, your cottage in the woods awaits your return.

Is this art or a photo? It is certainly a metaphor that love can break the heart in so many ways, even if the person loves you back, because you want to protect them and take care of them. I do love this photo. Glad you are settling in and keep your heart and mind on spring!!

Have always loved Terri's creations, and her thoughts too.

The thought that came to me when I saw this was that when we are hurt or injured, our heart appears. Sending hugs...
