2016 Ending

Love this shade of green and design on paper, wish it was a piece of fabric.
A gift bag and paper wrapped around an unusual candle, called a Creative Energy Candle
Scent Rosemary and Lavender, two of my favorite scents.

Instructions say that after you burn the candle to take the warm wax and place a small amount\into
the palm of your hand and gently massage into hands or feet.

Have not burned this candle as of yet and
will wait until some long rainy day, sit and read, burn the candle and try it out.

Thank you Beth
you always find such unusual items for your mama :)

Last night at dusk
Continuing to heal from bad fall, therapy for a few weeks, nurse last week told me something I know
"your mind and body are in a different place"  early morning for the second time
on mat, difficult and only 15 minutes but will continue.   Moving slower is what I should do
and will just continue on doing all I can.

Chili made the other day and chef granddaughter told me she always adds a can of corn and so
I did.

Today cooking black eyed peas, turnip greens, cornbread and a piece of salmon.  Meal for today
and tomorrow..

WISHING EVERYONE AND MYSELF A HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR.

I call that color "Spring Green". It is the exact color the Maple trees leave become when they first pop out in early spring. That candle sounds wonderful.
I bought Himalayan Salt lamps for all my girls this Christmas. Suppose to help with cleansing the air and lungs, calming anxiety and helping with a more restful sleep. I think mine has helped me, so I got them each one. We shall see.

Happy 2017 dear Ernestine! What an interesting candle. Let us know what you think after you try it.

I'm fixing black eye peas, a small quarter end Nature Choice, no preservatives, applewood smoked ham. No greens here as I didn't go out shopping this week. Do have some lettuce, so I can make a salad.

May you continue to heal. Love, hugs & prayers ~ FlowerLady

Judy, I bought the lamp a number of months ago and it is a wonderful night light
so far have not noticed health benefits but stay in so much pain I may not notice
the benefits.
Lorraine, thank you....

We will have sauerkraut and ham or pork (haven't decided which) as it's what our kids traditionally have for a prosperous new year. Since we've been doing it, I can't say it's made a difference though...

I'm intrigued by the unique candle you describe. Keep us posted!
I'm also going to try to remember to add corn to the next pot of chili I make. I think it sounds good. (Wonder if I should drain it before adding?????)
Wishing you a peaceful New Year's Day, a return to health and less pain in your movements, contentment of heart and ever-inquiring mind in 2017.
