On This Day

Giving Thanks

Gratitude, the simple and profound feeling of being thankful,
is the foundation of all generosity.
I am generous when I believe that right now,
right here, in this form and place,
I am being given what I need.
Generosity requires that we relinquish something,
and this is impossible if we are not glad for what we have.

Thankful cranberry salad came out of the old mold :)
So pretty that I may do this for Christmas also.
I put grapes in the center...

My Mother had goblets that were Fostoria. She always put her cranberry mold on a Fostoria plate. Your table looks so pretty. Love the centepiece of herbs. So country...
Have a wonderful rest of the day.

A lovely table with beautiful herbs in the center :-). I can smell (almost) the rosemary from here.
Thank you again for sharing your blog.

I showed my husband the photo of your table with the herbs. We both think it's so pretty. I hope your day was wonderful--I'm sure with loved ones there, it was. ♥

Oh how I wish I could set such a beautiful table! With as many as we have eating we use paper plates :( Saves on a lot of dishwashing by hand.
