Not a television person
never have been
simplicity has been my goal
walks in the woods
camera in hand
watching sunrise and
sunset
always a hoe for garden
near by
but at the moment with healing
as knee is going to take longer
since they did not diagnose correctly.
no broken bones they said
but a lot can go on with knees
when they are not broken.....
I think
this is going to be enjoyed
on those long winter days and nights
and making me sit still
yesterday it was loaded in my car
and this morning
electrician hooked up my 39 inch television
and DVD player in 30 minutes
one said get something smaller
another said this is what you need
and I agree with this size....

Oh the stranger in the woods!
I do hope he doesn't take up too much of your downtime. Then again you might appease him with DVDs.
I have no TV but a screen and lots of movies and good series for cold winter nights..

WWW
WWW, DVD's and public broadcasting
will be what I enjoy.
No time for anything else :)
I never sit still and this will help at this time :)
No TV for me either. The last thing I watched was Survivor, which had been our only show to watch for the last few years. I don't care to watch it anymore.
I watch movies on my computer and have DVD's too.
I hope your knee will heal soon for you.

Although I do watch some TV shows, there are so many things unfit for viewing. I call the TV the "Intruder" for the farmer turns it on every time he comes in. We watch RFDTV, rural television, a lot. I hope this will help you relax and do what's best for the knee.
Ernestine, I didn't know about your knee. I hear the power of touch, even self touch to the area that is most in need of healing, is quite powerful. Oxytocin and opioids are just what the doctor ordered! Sending you virtual kisses for the forehead and knee.
Kaveri, thank you. Go to doctor next Tuesday for further test. Tried tramadol last night
1/2 pill :) - did not help. Never take as much as prescribed and maybe should tonight.
Charlotte, always have not like television but PBS in my area on Sunday
is excellent
Lorraine, always like you...
Nice!!
Just got one of these, and the children gave me a blueray box to go with it. There will be concerts, mysteries and documentaries this winter, old movies too. Hope you are healing, my friend.
I love PBS. The Downton Abbey Series is a particular favorite. I think you will enjoy this TV and the time will go faster this winter.
Enjoy,
Balisha
Enjoy! PBS Sunday night :-).
Judy, Cate, Balisha and Pienosole,
thanks for visiting on this long, lonesome rainy Sunday. Will be happy when I can resume regular morning exercises but at present trying to let knee heal.
Well, that is quite the new diversion machine! You'll enjoy some nice movies and PBS. We are currently enjoying a series called "Last Tango in Halifax"...have you watched Doc Martin?" We adore that series and a new season should come out soon. The scenery is so wonderful.
Glad you are resting the knee!
Peace to you this day....the shards of sunlight you captured are so beautiful.
Marcia, cannot figure out how to turn DVD player on - it may be defective - will see what my little granddaughters can do with it on Wednesday...
