She Continues

Spring continues to put on a show
for this One Woman.
Daily a new visit
Lilacs
The old Redbud tree
The small Red Maple
that the beetles ate every leaf
last summer.

In the evening
I sit in the sun on the small front porch.
Birds visit the feeders and leave so fast
that I cannot capture their image.
Seems only the little yellow Finch
sits still for me.

All you need is one little bird. Birds of every stripe are building nests in my yard this very morning. My redbuds are not ever starting although our maples are sending out leaves.

Thank you for sharing your spring. We have beautiful sunlight today. Hoping that blooms and green leaves are not far behind!

Oh my, I enjoy your springtime - it will be weeks here until our lilacs bloom or even put out leaves.

Spring is trying to come here; redbud is blooming, grass is growing in the meadows ready to be cut for hay, baby chickens coming tomorrow. And so, the circle of life on the farm begins again.

nice shots. our lilacs have buds but are a while from open blooms. so are the magnolias, but the stellata dogwood is in full bloom. the pink dogwoods are a long way from even considering it! we are still a garden of early blooming bulbs and few early blooming shrubs. in another month we will begin to see the colorful blooms that i long for every winter!
