Happy Birthday
and
Safe travel wishes
Sent with much love.
So aware at this moment
you have many miles to fly
over the ocean...
Soon
I will see you
driving down
the long gravel
driveway.
I will smile
but
forgive your mom
if she cries...

You will most certainly be forgiven for tears.
Love and hugs to you as you await the reunion and visiting.

We must worry when they are flying--we just have to, but he will be all right and then---then when you see him driving up the drive and you run out to greet him and hugs and yes, tears--and that is perfectly all right!!! Enjoy your time together.
Lorraine and Judy, thank you so much. I have not seen my son in 18 months - such a long time...
I had tears as I read. I've been reading your blog for a little while and love the way you write. I think of you waiting for your family to come and how much family means to us oldies. I am blessed to have my husband on my journey, live on a farm but our children are scattered, one family living half an hour away so we see more of them. Another in Melbourne, she is not well and is a widow, two teenage boys and I try to see her every couple of weeks, just being another adult in the house and helping her where I can. Your family looks as though they are very loving...now I wonder where they learned about love?! Love to you Mrs A
Oh my
