Sky and Special Words

The sky
at 6:00 AM
a beautiful rose color....

Last night
the sunset
 viewed
seemed to cover me
with a blanket of peace.
A good way
to end the day....

Special words of wisdom this morning
from one over the ocean.

"To become a philosopher,
start by walking very slowly"
~~Nassim Taleb~~

This mom walks too fast

Looked up meaning and here are several

a person who lives and thinks according to a particular philosophy
a person who is calm and rational under any circumstance....

beautiful my friend. I have chosen to enter "slow" fully today... perhaps tomorrow too. After pushing hard, "slow" is delicious.

will you join the gratitude quilt this year? I hope so!

You often say/write things that leave me smiling, such as "This mom walks too fast." I am afraid I am a fast walker too...no philosopher here! But I do love your beautiful sunset, your "blanket of peace."
