Oh Yes....

Callie
I have had you as my constant companion
now for 3 years.
You rarely bark unless a stranger approaches our cottage.
When arriving home from errands the horn in the vehicle sounds
as I travel down the long gravel drive and you come running
to meet me and I do not believe anyone has ever been greeted so joyously.
I have been missed....

When family arrives you are so happy and practically leap in the air.

Constantly looking at me wagging your tail.
Mistress wondering what are you telling me.
At times you want outside, inside or a treat.
But most of the time I do not know what you are saying to me :)

Sometimes I wonder
what would I do without you.....

I love that last pic. She is leaning up against you as though in heaven.

Dogs are pure, uncomplicated love. I am beginning to lean towards having two dogs myself. Enjoy the season with its beauty and blessings!

Back when I was reading your journal from beginning to end, Callie became one of my favorite characters. I am so glad you and she have become so close...good for both.

I was here when Callie came on the scene. Dogs are such wonderful companions...we grow old with them and they love us unconditionally. Give Callie a hug from Balisha please..

You and Callie are a match made in heaven. Isn't it a blessing to have a best friend with 4 legs? In my case, it's an amputee cat with 3 legs but he doesn't care and neither do I---he does everything any other cat will do. Cat or dog, they add another dimension to life.

Great chosen photos. Loving picture of you and Callie, she leans in to you.

Our fur babies who smile with their tails.

Our Molly Gael is a joy to me, she helps me through tough times.

Wishing you a wonderful week.

When I come back having been away my dog climbs up beside me and nestles her head into my neck for hours.
Your last pic reminded me of that.

I am so happy for you, having Callie for a companion. I used to have that with my cat, but dogs killed him. Thus my dislike of dogs; the ones we have now were dumped on us and have all my cats chased away to the barns. But I do understand that other people love their dogs just the way I love my cats.

Oh sweet Charlotte, now I have never been a cat person - we all have to love something :)
I had a beautiful cat at the old farm house and Jamie's dad ran over him - sad :)

She looks like such a pal. I can't believe she doesn't roam....she really loves it there!!!

I think dogs make the best pets -- most are empathetic in ways that most other animals are not. Glad you have your pal!
