Wednesday Morning Blessing

I Picked up my granddaughter this morning.

Her day to spend with grandma.

In the back seat she is singing songs she learned at Vacation Bible School.

Over and over

She is singing.

I Know My God is Real and Nothing will Change How I Feel.

Over and over her little voice is proclaiming this.

I looked in the rear view mirror at her.

Her little face radiant.

The thought on my mind.

May she always proclaim this.

Actually, you may hope that she is not so sure in her journey for truth. It is the questioning and testing that makes us strong...at least in my opinion...

Your granddaughters are so lovely and look so happy!

Yes, hopefully, this will be the beginning of a strong support for her.

What a lovely thought to begin my day! Blessings on your grandaughter for singing it and on you for sharing this precious moment with us.

Ah, the innocence of youth. I am sure she will go through many evolutions in her beliefs as she matures.

I remember a story about a Bishop (can't remember his name) upon being told that his college age son had become an Athiest replied, "Well, I'm glad he's getting that out of his system."
