Because

Because you are all so close to me
will share yesterday and now today
something I do not want to share
just no lengthy responses
have some help taking me where I need to go
miss family
but no one near
and Christmas in a few days
will see them at that time

trying to stay more quiet
and difficult for me with my routine of busyness

and maybe I should not share
but will

Putting my boots on Sunday night to shut screen door porch
which I keep open in the day for Callie

I fell
flat on my face

Waiting for test results
no pain
thankful
nothing broken
just feel like someone picked me up and dropped me

results, nothing unusual
just huge knot on head
now draining

trying to stay quiet and almost impossible:)

Not the best way to start the Holidays! Wishing you quick healing and happier days to come!

I was about to come your way to wish you a very Happy Christmas, but now it's to wish you a rapid recovery from your fall. Unexpected things happen and I recently slipped on a big plastic bag and fractured my wrist, so I shall have a plaster cast over Christmas!
May your family bring you laughter, love and joy at this Christmas period.

Oh, no! I've had a couple of humbling (and painful) episodes last week (including a broken tooth and turned ankle). Glad you are not in pain and that nothing is broken! We WILL survive.

Healing thoughts sent your way. When we fall, it is such a jolt to our bodies. Be kind to yourself while you heal.

I agree with Judy - its very good news that you didn't break anything falling so hard. You must have strong bones. xxx

Oh, my dear, Ernestine, what a shock that must be to your whole body and soul. So relieved to hear that nothing is broken. How quickly things happen like that! I hope you were able to get help right away. Scary. Soothing thoughts for you and may you be able to rest as recommended.

I wish I could be there to bake for you and bring you some good, hearty meals. You have taken such great care of yourself over the years, I'm actually not surprised you didn't break anything. REST!

(Gentle) Hugs as you recover,

Val ♥

Ouch!!! I am glad it looks worse than it evidently was. I hope you are well on your way to healing now. It's happening all around me and I have narrow escapes myself. My friend in London has been referred to a `Fall' clinic after she broke several bones. Enjoy the warmth of family at Christmas and let's look forward to the new year and spring blossoms. Your photos always bring spring to me.

Oh my dear, so wish I was there to fetch and carry and make tea. I am glad nothing was broken, but you must be very gentle with yourself.
