Remember

"Mindfulness is simply being aware of what is happening right now without wishing it were different, enjoying the pleasant without holding on when it changes (which it will); being with the unpleasant without fearing it will always be this way (which it won't)"

James Baraz

This is the philosophy of life that I have come to try to live after many years of trying to twist and turn life to the way I wanted it.

Knowing this makes all the difference in the world. Learning it took time and experience, but what a gift when it finally became a reflex. I can still get in a tizzy, but I recover nicely with a little self talk.

Tabor and Cloudhand - this is it...
Why is it so difficult to learn?

Acceptance is a trait that brings peace. It reminds me of the oft quoted prayer (attributed to the Indians and others). It ends with the admonition to change what we can, accept that which we can't change and the wisdom to know the difference.

I think you were wise to accept a lower price for your property. A bird in the hand is usually better than two in the bush.distr

Soon it sounds like you will be the owner of only one home!
What a year you've had.
