A Good Week

The past week has been good!

Time as a family and one-on-one time with my first born.
As time marches on, alone time with one of our children is so rare and special. Two of my daughters have mates and children and when we gather there is not the opportunity to just sit and share or be quiet in each others presence.

The weather has been beautiful and I must add that this morning it is raining. It is suppose to clear later in the day.

Sharing a meal with family, an enjoyable drive to a country restaurant for lunch with my daughter, fire pit is a success, and Miss Callie has turned into a dream dog.
I might add that during my daughter's walking time she spotted the most magnificent stag deer with amazing antlers. Wish I had been near with my camera and surely hope that a hunter does not venture into my woods.

Do not have the words to describe this past week - but - One Woman has a smile on her face.

Is that a remnant of a marshmallow on your granddaughters lip. Whatever it was she's trying to get the last of it with her tongue. And look at Callie doing her version of Snoopy on the doghouse roof. Each little girl looking precious. I'm so glad you had such an excellent week.

Cloudhands, yes that is marshmallow on Caity's lip. My daughter called out "come and see Callie she is sitting on the doghouse". Thank you for visiting me.

I'm glad this was a good week. Special time on a one-to-one basis is the best. I don't have that very often and I treasure the time I do.

Callie is looking mighty pretty. I'm glad she is working out.

Darlene, time is flying by. You and I both know that. When family is with me and it is rare. Like birthdays or holidays - I just yearn to have them one at a time to myself. Yes, Callie may have a home. lol

the little girl in pink looks a lot like you to me! that is such a cute pic.

i am glad callie is doing well. i hope you will eventually be comfortable inviting her inside. they can be such good company, and when they are kept clean and are house trained they can be very good companions especially on cold winter nights (as long as they are not destructive.) i am glad she has adjusted and both of you are happy.

Balisha, thank you. Sky, thanks to you also for commenting. I know when the weather turns cold that Callie will be inside beside my chair. Both of you have a good weekend.
