Ouch, hope you feel better soon. Shingles are a nasty business and coming after a tooth removal, they are a particularly nasty business. Holding you in my thoughts.

Dear Ernestine,
I am so sorry to hear you have shingles. The condition is so painful. May you recover quickly and ready for the beauty of Spring.

How in this world did you get Shingles????????????
Not from the tooth extraction--right?
I got the Shingles vaccine a couple of years ago. I thought you did too.
I am so sorry. I hear they are terribly painful.
I wish I could make all of this better for you!!!!!!!!

Shingles I've experienced. A very mild case.
Enough for me!
I was wondering where you've been.
I'm sorry it's this!

So sorry to hear you got this. My husband got the shingles after getting a shingles shot so for some there may be no escaping it. I saw somewhere in the news that they have now got a better vaccine. Not very helpful at this point. Hoping you get better soon. Spring is indeed "around the corner".

I was thinking about you and am hoping you are out of the hospital by now. I have had shingles before and they are so painful. Mine hurt for quite some time before the ugly rash appeared. I couldn't imagine what in the world was causing me pain, when the rash appeared, I knew. You are the second person that blogs that I have read had shingles after a dental procedure. I wonder what the tie in between shingles and dental work is.

I hope you are feeling better and the shingles will run their course quickly.

Take care.
