Beautiful As They Sparkle

2 above this early morning
but wonderful sun to shine all day,
tomorrow and Sunday.

Late yesterday when on the loft
noticed the ice sparkling on the tall trees.

Gas company arriving this morning
to check gas logs.
In the past rarely burned them
but enjoyed them much over the last weeks
may have a problem with them.
A plus as they arrive
will be their making tracks in the long drive
where snow and ice will melt more rapidly.

So looking forward to Spring.....

Can you imagine
we turn our clocks ahead this weekend ....

A lot of orchards in my area
and wonder if  freezing over last weeks
 has affected  their
crop this year.

Late winter affects the orchard tree the most of they have young buds, but only time will tell. I also have ice on the trees and it was beautiful. We got 3-5 inches yesterday and all is so lovely outside. I think this is the last.

Getting caught up with you. Please only write for you, try not to care what others think.

Without the touchstone of writing life would be much harder. For me anyway :)

Children worry about us. I know. But I'd rather die with my boots on in my own house.

And you know what, Ernestine? 70% of us do. Isn't that a great thought?

I think those trees are showing off in their new glittering coats. I love our gas fireplaces. We use them daily to warm the house.

AHA--a method to bring in the gas company to cut through the snow. Need to go outside and sprinkle some ice melt in their tracks. :-)
