Cooling

One chocolate sheet cake
my Beth requested
 is cooling
one end
no walnuts
as one young granddaughter requested.
Always so good
and made more times then I can remember.

From The Nashville Cook Book
dated 1976.

Do believe
I sent a copy of this book
to my oldest daughter
Laurie....

Remember to turn your clocks back.

No extra hour of sleep
for this one
as she will just be getting up
an hour earlier :)

Dear Ernestine ~ This one down here will also just be getting up an hour earlier. :-)

It is very windy down here, it's supposed to get down to 51 and feel like it's 43 before sunrise tomorrow. For us that is cold, but it is such a welcome change from the heat and humidity. I am thankful!!!

I plan to make a pot of beans and ham tomorrow.

Have a nice time with Beth and a lovely day tomorrow.

Craved a cup of English tea last night and even though I knew the caffeine would keep me awake...so did not getto sleep until after midnight and was up at 7:00. Enough sleep. There is a bit of butter in that cake...no wonder it is so good.
