Think On This

Living In Joy

When we are not attached
to who we think we are,
life can move through us,
playing like an instrument.

Understanding how everything is in
a continual transformation,
we release our futile attempt
to control circumstances.

When we live in this easy
connection with life,
we live in joy.

James Baraz "Lighten Up"

Sharing words that
spoke to me
in a special way
early this morning...

I was reading DIY Stress Relief and found a quote by the same....

Mindfulness is simply being aware of what is happening right now without wishing it were different; enjoying the pleasant without holding on when it changes (which it will); being with the unpleasant without fearing it will always be this way (which it won’t)."

Sometimes when I read these quotes etc. I feel like it's something that I could have said....but didn't have the words. Simple quotes are sometimes better than reading a whole book.

Enjoy your day,
Balisha

thank you for sharing this.

the easy way is letting go....i think a difficult way, may become easier, as we age.

in my younger days, i would have payed no attention to this.

These are very wise words and a good intention, if not goal, to have.

Thank you.

Those words really are meaningful. So hard to "let go, and let God," isn't it?

So much easier said than done. We are all about attachments, aren't we?
