Housefull Of Pets and Snow Predicted

Youngest daughter just called and put a smile on my face on this another cold and inside day..
It seems there may be some snow tonight.
Wish my special friend had not given me some beautiful outside flowers so soon.
They are sitting in the middle of kitchen floor along with large plants from loft area
that I are too heavy for me to return upstairs.
Spring I thought you had arrived last week - how wrong I was...

Youngest granddaughter has a friend whose family is involved in house sitting
and feeding animals for a shortt time.   A beautiful home in the country
and imagine this
Baby goats in a playpen in the kitchen
Rabbits in a cage in the bathroom
South African raccoons in a pen
Sugar Gliders in pen
and a snake in a child's room

Outside there were chickens and all kinds of animals.

Have missed some
as I was quickly making a list as my daughter shared :)

The little girls were thrilled and it made their Sunday afternoon...

My thought
I do good to keep wood floors clean from Miss Callie coming in and out of this cottage.

I welcomed any news that made me smile
on this long inside day....

Just sitting here while the snow blows outside my window. It may be a long time before I can plant anything.
Your grand daughters are growing by leaps and bounds. I can see the love for these animals in their eyes. Precious little goat!
Just had a piece of Joe's birthday cake...
Have a nice evening...Balisha

The snow missed us but the wind has been fierce all day! Telephone calls and a visit from my middle daughter helped pass this dreary day.

I have a granddaughter who loves animals too, although she is 14 now.

Do your best to stay warm and snug...

The goat is for me. Precious. I like goats. I harbor this crazy dream of becoming an artisinal goat-cheese maker.

Just crazy.

Agreed that your little granddaughters are growing so fast.

Calls to mind a song lyric:

“Turn around and you’re two,
Turn around and you’re four,
Turn around and you’re a young girl
Going out of the door.”

It sure has been a long and cold winter, but spring weather can't be too far off now. Hang in there!

Elsa Louise, oh yes, I relate to your sharing. I love goats and once thought of the cheese and soap. A special friend near by makes the soap and Love it and need to replenish my supply.
My little girls are growing up so fast and so smart they are and teach me about computer :)
Balisha, the plants that arrived were appreciated but way to soon.
My herbs may have disappeared.
Charlotte and Mel, thank you for visiting...

Oh we had snow too this morning, and it is chilly, I'm keeping the fire going while I work away from it.

Lovely shots of those gorgeous girls!

Wisewebwoman, oh how I miss the woodburning fire place and stove.
Thought of putting in this cottage
but just not into bringing wood in and the clean up I did for 40 years :)
Bitter cold - 18 on deck and windy.
Thank you always
for visiting...
