Through The Window

Another visit to
Noticing
it is not that green outside
at this time.....

My little girls will be with me today.
Many smiles, hugs
and no quiet time
in this cottage by the woods.
Looking forward to it....

ONE YEAR AGO TODAY THIS WAS POSTED

An image just taken
through the upstairs window
this early morning
as it continues to rain.

The garden area and paths
so visible this month.
My children and grandchildren
can see what I have been up to.

Surveying my creation as
it progresses.
A lot going on for the
middle of March.

Rain all night
will provide a much more
relaxed day today.

Life is good
at the edge of the woods...

I keep reminding the girls that the rain is good for the flowers and grass! Hopefully Miss C won't get rained on during her field trip to the Mexican restaurant today for school lunch (a special treat for making reading goals.)

Your work really shows...it looks wonderful. Nice to take a picture when it's just starting out in the spring and then again later when it is growing lush. Have a relaxing day...Mother Nature is helping you "pace yourself"

Your woods look so clean and inviting! No undergrowth and such make them more accessible to you for your walks. We had a surprise rain yesterday afternoon, with hail!

That's a good quote!

Your garden, my adopted garden, a magical blogging benefit.

Your hard work shows. I love this picture.

Happy everything.

The view from your upper window is so lovely and certainly shows the labor of love you have put in to creating your beautiful Wood Haven! Please show us that view again as the garden progresses through Spring in to summer!

The view of your garden from the upstairs window is lovely. Seeing your children and grandchildren admiring the garden you are putting together must be very heartwarming. I hope you are enjoying your garden project as much as your loved ones. Stay happy!

We had a "regular" winter this year, so perhaps we won't have such a hot spring--I would just like 4 normal seasons. My tulips are peeking through and I see places where I want to plant more bulbs this fall-2013. Already thinking ahead and planning--guess that is what keeps us moving forward?

A year ago the sarvis and redbud trees were in bloom...not so this year. I am nervous, because of the drought, that we have lost many of the dogwoods and other small flowering trees in the woods. Today is warm, very warm, so we should start seeing more green soon. What a wonderful time you will have today with your girls.

Judy, I am planting nothing else :)
Have all I can hopefully care for.
Mary, I understand and do not know as of yet what and when something will bloom here.
Buttercups are blooming...
