Hot Afternoon

Tried sitting outside for a short time
oh my
way too hot so came back inside.

The local market was grilling ribs, wanted to share with family
but no one available.

I so understand. I rarely have had picnics with my children. They have/had a busy social calendar this time of year. I miss them, but they have a right to their own fulfilling lives. I can get demanding a bit when we have this virus under control...and we will!

I miss not seeing my family, but then....even when there wasn't a pandemic, I rarely saw them, so............makes me sad they aren't more attentive, but I brought them up to be independent and now, I pay the price.
