Reclining Buddha has take up residency in the deepest part of the woods.
I need to wear boots when I venture in the woods.
This early morning walking my path
with my usual routine of clearing branches
and using my clippers as I walk.
Just returned and noticed a bloody ankle.
Think I brushed against a stubble
hoping that is it.
As I walked and stood still to listen
for nature sounds
I was aware
hardly a bird was greeting me
In the Spring it sounds like a
wonderful orchestra...
Continueing heat
over a 100 degrees on porch yesterday.

Yesterday I felt as if I was opening the oven door instead of my backdoor!!!
Reclining Buddha is at home nestled in the woodland of sacred trees.
Thank you for sharing.
We have your heat in Florida too. Our thermometers show us warmer by degrees, than our weather people report. hmmmmm...
Wishing your bliss to be close enough to touch.
Even Buddha knows it's too hot to sit up. ;-)
The birds are trying to stay cool also. We not only have heat (normal) but humidity (abnormal) so I can commiserate.
I got my electric bill yesterday and about had a heart attack. The air conditioner runs almost non-stop.
It has been as hot here as everywhere else. Your Buddha looks very comfortable and your blog is as refreshing and beautiful as ever. I enjoyed my visit. Thanks for coming by my place. Have a great weekend, too.
Buddha looks very serene and comfortable. Our temps are back in the mid 80's today, but the humidity is horrid!!! We will enjoy getting back into the 70's one of these days--then we can open up all doors and windows and let the fresh air come through.
wayyyyyyy too hot for me! thankfully it is only in the 60s and 70s here and a whole week of sunshine ahead!
Beverly, Sandra, Darlene, Judy, Sky and Judy - thanks for visiting.
Have a good weekend. I am staying inside...
I was truly just about to drop by and say hello and then a message from you popped into my inbox. I'm so happy to be home from the hospital and happier still to be going on vacation with my extended family tomorrow!
Wear those boots, be cautious of the heat, drink, drink, drink and enjoy that symphony my friend!
A lovely mossy spot for the Buddha!! I love to find those patches in the woods. we do have some in the side yard at LM's, too.
The heat sounds so oppressive. We have had rain for almost 24 hours and are thoroughly enjoying it with a nice SW breeze off the ocean. The gardens are so happy.
Laura and Marcia, good morning and thanks for visiting...
