Computer shut down

Maybe it is in sleep mode

Holiday visit in 3 weeks

Look at it then....

Could you bring to the big city

Not up to it

I use to live not far away

My Beth

Took pity upon mother

Came to check it out

Plug was off

Current was off recently

All she knows is

It was missed

So very much

She almost began to grieve

Did not realize to the extent

It brings her smiles, encouragement

Friends, writing and camera time

Her friend is back working

One Woman needs her

Family, meditation, gardening, books, and camera time

Welcome back my computer.

I know what you mean! I never thought I would have new friends, new sites to see and all of it from home. Not that that is all I do, but, I would miss it if it left me!!!

We may slip by a few days in our absence, but soon, someone would send the militia for us. :)

Bless Beth.
Bless One Woman.
Bless the Computer.
Bless our friendships!

It is a lifeline in its own way, isn’t it? So very good to hear that indeed you are well. We, your virtual friends, are glad you’ve returned to us.

Beverly and WM = thank you so much for visiting. I have missed you.
See how cold it is - in my woods.

Elsa Louise - thank you for the kind words. Did not realize how attached I have become to the Computer.

I have written a post about blogging to come out on Thursday and I admit my addiction! It used to be the TV and then it was NPR and now it is books, music and the PC.

Glad you are back! Because we are all in our own "real time" we are very much aware when you are not posting. You are part of my daily routine - without ever hearing your voice I look forward to your voice.

LR - thank you. You put a smile on my face before I turn my "friend" off. Now when I was your age I did not have this addiction. I was busy building homes and moving :)

I have started journals many times and didn't follow through. Putting things down in a post for all to see...for whatever reason..keeps me doing it each day. I too would be lost without it. I have made many friends by keeping this journal. They are as close to me as my computer screen and I miss them when they are absent.Certain ones are special and you are one of them...Balisha

I'm sorry it stopped working for a while. But I'm glad it's back, and you are back writing.

I would really miss my computer. It allows me to communicate in so many different ways. I have made so many good friends, too. I loved your story about the rocking chair. I know you will enjoy it there. It was probably just waiting for you to find that one perfect spot to enjoy it again! Have a good week. It is snowy and cold here. Supposed to be 12 degrees tonight.

Oh my - what would I do without you ... do you know how important you are to me ?
Computer down a while this morning.
I think weather related. It is snowing hard - big flakes - beautiful.
But I need my computer.
