just in case something quick was needed when I did not feel like cooking.
Do not like any of them. and I do believe I have tried them all.
Never again.....
Yesterday
A simple healthy lunch with red lettuce that came from over flowing pot,
an addition chopped tomato, avocado, cucumber, hard cooked egg, a few
shrimp, chopped crab
and a mixture of my herbs in olive oil with some garlic was poured over the top
of this salad and
it was good, healthy and
I knew what I was
eating.....
New beauties everyday
and buds soon to open.
4 eye drops used 3 times daily and I will be
so pleased when vision in right eye is the way it is suppose to be....
Healing takes time and this one is still learning to be patient.

I understand about the frozen "convenience" foods. I have done the same thing, with the same results and decision. I had that surgery in one eye a few years ago. Interesting surgery. Was glad when he told me to start doing drops only once a day. Now I can put them in before I get out of bed each morning. Gives me a sense of accomplishment, that I've already done something I can check off my list for the day. Husband laughs at me because sometimes I have trouble hitting my eye with the drops which might go anywhere. He said, "You don't even know where your eye is." Now, when alarm goes off, I turn on beside lamp, and with the light coming from the side I can see the dropper better.
Barbee, my email is on my blog...
I am alone this week and do not like pre-made meals from the freezer. Sometimes the deli in the supermarket has a selection, but they are not always healthy. YOur garden will provide you with much nutrition this summer.
Patience? Does it ever come to us? LOL. I love the salads that a store near me makes for their deli. I use to be such a beef eater--the last year I seem to eat a lot of salads, fruit and salmon patties. No wonder I have lost 30 pounds?
Tabor, enjoy this quiet time :)
Judy, love salmon patties and have made for years. Just at this time do not feel like fixing anything and I have to eat :)
You made me chuckle ~ "never again". They do taste a little like cardboard don't they? Sounds like you're doing great from the eye surgery.
I'm glad to see Judy leaving comments; miss her blog!
Your salad looks delicious! When I'm alone I often eat a salad or scrambled eggs or any bit of leftovers. You're doing well to fix a small meal, take photos, and write a post. Take good care of yourself ~
Charlotte and Sharon, I think my writing sounds more upbeat then I feel. Writing is good for me.
Will be pleased when blurred vision stops :)
The salad looks delicious, so much nicer than the ready made ones! The drops sound boring but you know they are helping so you will keep on persevering with them as you are! Talking about patience, have a look at my blog tonight...a phot that you will enjoy! Take care, Mrs A
