New

as she leaves New York for Nantucket
A new world is opening.
Grandma, wishes you the best of luck....
Within the last week
so many new blooms...
Enough images
of my country garden.
Flowers are blooming everywhere..,.

OHMIGOSH--how gorgeous. That last pix of the Iris--looks like the one I call "My Momma Iris", as it was hers and when she died in 1970--I dug up a tuber and planted it at my house, then on to my next house and the next and the next and now it is here--have given a tuber to each of my daughters. My gardens won't look like this until late June!

Judy, I am amazed. All cuttings were planted 3 years ago :)

Stunning. I think that it takes about 3 years for you to see what works well and spreads and what does not grow so well. Your patience has paid off...now you just have to weed like crazy.

Tabor, thank you. I also have thrown many seeds in this area
and as of yet cannot tell what is a weed or a flower. My goal is to have it so thick that not many weeds come up :) This garden is just memories and nothing fancy.
