Dear Laurah, thank you for the early morning comment. Healing prayers are sent your way !!

Love your words;)Shannon
Wild Magnolia and Shannon, thank you for visiting.
What a marvelous looking dog! Thank you for your words...
Ashling, thank you for visiting me and your kind comment. Yes, my Callie was meant to be with this One Woman.
One ear up, the other down, and the back foot turned just so. She’s darling.Have you read Siddhartha by Hesse? You probably have, but if not, you’d enjoy it. Add it to your winter reading list.
Elsa, yes, that little ear. I believe it was broken. Callie has made the best little pet. I want to rescue another dog so she will have company. In the past years - I found one at my door a number of times - so will see what "gift" is sent me.Thank you for the book recommendation. It is new to me.I have put it on my Amazon wish list.
Clearly you are not alone. You have the grandfather oaks to whisper about the seasons and shelter you from storms and the moss to rest upon and a soft warm doggie tongue to remind you you are loved.
Tabor, thank you - yes I am surrounded by trees and I know Miss Callie loves me :)Life is Good !!
Miss Callie is such a beautiful dog. She has really settled in at your home in the woods. I'll bet she loves it there. Balisha
I love how she lays with her feet straight out behind her. Adorable!!
I was just thinking that you should check out the canoe rental places or perhaps the bass boat places...in this recession someone might very much like taking you out on a guided tour of an area.
Balisha, Judy and Tabor - thanks for your comments. Tabor, think I will stay on dry land in this area but thank you for the idea:)
Loved your pictures! Callie looks like she has settled in very well with One Woman!
I have heard that sometimes our animal companions choose us ~ because they need us and we need them. I know that is true with my cat Leo.
