STORM

I rarely watch television
and almost wished I had not went onto the loft
and turned on the news....

The storm really looks bad.
This grandma has 2 granddaughter's in New York city
and a grandson in Washington, D.C.

Praying for their safety and thousands of others
and a miracle.

From One Woman at the edge of the woods.
There is a strong wind blowing and a cold night predicted.

I already know
I will not be sleeping
much tonight....

My daughter's and granddaughter are in Maine...just south of Portland. They grew up with hurricanes and know how to prepare. They assure me they are ready.

I have been praying for safety and for the storm to be diminished and disorganized. I remember now your loved ones.

Try to rest.

Everyone has contacted me and says
"don't worry - were fine" :)

May your loved ones be safe and may this storm turn out to not be as bad as they are predicting.

Stay safe and well my friend and I will keep fishing you out of the spam box where my filtering system insists on putting you!

Hi Ernestine...Since I started blogging, I have added so many more to my prayer list. I think of everyone from state to state who is in the path. Hoping that it will be not quite as bad as predicted...TV news can really play with our minds, but the coverage is good in a way...people are warned and can do what the authorities say to protect themselves. I'll be joining you in a restless night.

Ernestine, may there be some moments nestled in the coziness of the storm's eye.

I, too will be praying for them.

hoping all the friends and family so many of us have on the NE coast remain safe. 5 million+ and growing without power. thinking of the sick in hospitals without power. saw coverage where NYU medical center hospital is evacuating infants, children, and elderly in ICUs to other nearby hospitals after even the back-up generators failed. such unprecedented natural disaster over a huge geographical distance. we are glued to the coverage. glad your family has let you know they are ok. hope you will try to let go of so much worry and get some rest. will probably help them most to know you are not so upset.
