Sardines

Do you like Sardines?

A can of these healthy little fish have been sitting on my kitchen counter for several weeks.
Home after errands and thought they would make a quick
and healthy lunch.
I think you either really like them
or wrinkle up your nose at them like a lot of people when I share - I like them.

They are very healthy.
Full of natural Vitamin D
and more omega per 3 oz serving
then tuna or salmon.

A plus
very inexpensive....

I know my Laurie who lives in Tampa
has shared she likes them :)

Our family has always loved sardines. King Oscar are the best, so said my Dad. When my husband died, the grandchildren spoke at his funeral. The minister asked about things they would remember about their grandpa. Little Tyler, then 5, said, " Grandpa taught me to love sardines." Everyone thought that was so precious.
I often eat them with a saltine and a dab of mustard on the cracker.

I do not buy sardines...like them pizza...but used to eat them on saltine crackers when we lived overseas since there was so little to buy in the stores. I like them, but am not crazy about them.

we used to take them with us as kids when we went fishing - sardines and a sleeve of saltines!i like them ok. i like them with a dab of hot mustard or hot pepper jelly the best. great source of omegas and a good snack for those watching carb intake.

Sardines won't do for me either, but you surely do set a beautiful table for serving them. I am sure you have been out enjoying the beautiful days.

I don't remember ever eating sardines; however, my mother used to make fried mackerel patties. We thought they were a real treat since we didn't have much meat except chicken and pork.

i like sardines in tomato sauce the best, or plan olive oil. served on cracker with Tabasco.

I have to be in the mood to eat sardines. But I like them.

I have always fancied taking sardines, bread and a bottle of milk for breakfast every morning. I guess anyone would say i am addicted to sardines. Reading this article, i had a new perspective. Thanks, Amigo!
