Image From The Woods

She takes pictures the evenings she is with me
a young woman who is so helpful and I am thankful for.

I read this morning "May I have compassion for my pain"
and this is a path we do not need to walk alone and sometimes it is what is necessary.

Weary of sharing over and over that pain rarely stops, keep moving and do not take strong pain medication
as thankful for a good mind.

Wish my children did not hear this as they are not near but pleased I am still very
independent at 83.  So thankful for their visits, phone calls and emails

Very warm days continue and thankful for some rain last night for the flowers that are blooming
surrounding this cottage.

Forgive the sadness of some of my words this early morning but truly in spirit, I am happy and have deep peace about much.

I love writing, have always written journals and  wonder should I be so open with my sharing at this time
of my life?

Just read
"everything is temporary
even your problems"

I find that being open is much easier on my blog than in "real" conversations.
I reveal much in my blog that I wouldn't to friends and family, who don't even know I have a blog, because it helps get if off my mind, I get good advice and my blog buddies seem more compassionate and understanding. I think we all really care for each other.
Oh my--I just had a thought of our dear friend Balisha. I miss her writings!!

Write with the he heart as I do Ernestine. You are helping so many with honesty. Aging is not easy and we need to share our journeys with each other and for future generations.

Dear Ernestine ~ What a lovely sky shot taken by your dear companion. I am thankful you have her in your life. We all need help at different times in our lives.

Your sharing from your heart is good for you and your readers too. You are such an inspiration to me. To take each day as it comes, to be thankful and do the best I can.

Love, hugs & prayers for you ~ FlowerLady

Thankful for the "sorority", as I've come to think of fellow bloggers at various stages of life... You obviously have a strong will which has carried you this far and back to your cottage. It's great to be independent. I see how determined you are. Looks like you will continue to trust your instincts. I pray for their accuracy. ❤️
