Problem With Some Herbs - Wheat is Beautiful

I believe in natural healing, take a number of supplements, a healthy diet and never experienced
a problem before.

Yesterday drank the herbal tea to help with pain
and last night the tea to help me get a better nights sleep.

Rest was a little better but up continually with voiding, a  reaction to some of the herbs, which number many
in the tea.

 Probably am low on potassium
so drinking Gatorade and will take a potassium pill with breakfast.

Probably a slight drop in weight - which I do not need.

Contacting Amazon this morning to see if I can return these 2 products
and not going to check out the herbs.

Did read on box that to check with doctor if on any medications.
I am on very few, low blood pressure which stays normal except in times
of stress and with a large family it seems something is always going on
that I take too seriously.   Also taking for 4 years Alzufindine which is mainly
for inflammation and will probably be on for the rest of my life.
At this time my prednisone dose is very low and continuing to reduce gradually
and plan to be off by the end of the year.   This is a good medication
but do not like the side affects.

Enough medical information and almost rain free today with it returning for another
week.   Needless to say the ground is saturated but the wheat field looks beautiful
with its before harvest color even though very wet.
Still of the opinion when this rain finally ends there will be no
more and hot weather will continue until Fall.

I share your preference for taking the natural approach to healing whenever possible and have found it very helpful to have found an integrative doctor to work with. I also share your "hunch" that after this rainy spell, there will be a hot summer, which is also an incentive to appreciate the cooler days while they're here. Take care.

the biggest problem with herbal supplements and their claims is that there is NO scientific research of any depth or in any significant numbers to support their claims. FDA has no authority nor resources to insure that what is written on the label is accurate. It is a gamble. Wise to consult your doctor and keep track of even minute symptom changes.

I know - herbs and teas are dicey without getting them from a grower. Sad but true. I'm a bit of a sceptic on all supplements as our fruit and veg, if good quality, carry us through.

Having said that, I'm on some BP meds myself due to family stressors (like you). Easier said than done as to how to deal with it all.

Meditation is fine while I'm doing it but I'm finding a really good book is equally beneficial.

Photo of wheat is so gorgeous.

Our summer I most reluctant, hasn't appeared yet.

I agree. The wheat field is gorgeous. Your pic would be great on a calendar.

Pienosole, Tabor, WWW and Sallysmom,
thanks for visiting.
When I look back
I now realize my aunts, grandmothers and mom all had this problem.
Guess they accepted more then this one and did not do the research
I do. Just want to do all I can to have less pain...

Mindfulness is nothing new and nothing complicated. It is simply ‘being in the now, connected to yourself’.

I hope you sleep better tonight. I have been having many sleepless nights of late, but my doctor prescribed some medicine and last night for the first time in four months I slept for 9 glorious hours!!! We have had little rain here, although yesterday a wonderful down pour that the birds were singing about joyfully after it stopped. Everything looked bright and beautiful this morning… perhaps the combo of sleep and rain added that extra shine.

You are often in my thoughts, even when I don't stop by to say hello E.
