moved my bird feeder.
Wanted it closer to my bedroom window.
Because of some rain the ground was soft enough to dig it up
when it had been in that location for 4 years.
Such a pleasure when sitting at my desk
to view the constant activity.
I might add on this Sunday afternoon at 2:00 it was over
100 degrees on my deck
Hopefully rain expected tonight and cooler tomorrow
arrives...

Oh yes--we need our bird feeders close enough to see easily, who has come to dinner! Great location you chose.
I've never fed summer birds :(
We were hot today also, and didn't get the rain, but maybe this week will feel better. The corn outside your yard looks great!
What a great idea to move the feeder closer, but that's hot.
I think that you will enjoy the feeder near your window. The one in the front of our house is right up close to the window by my computer desk. I see so many more things than I would have if it were out away from it's location. Always something to watch.
I don't envy your 100 degrees. That's really too hot to enjoy anything outdoors. I melt....

I love this photo which shows the view from where you sit to write....a beautiful visual.
Do hope the cooler and refreshing air comes through for you. It is hot here, too and very unpredictable stormy weather.
Bird feeders are perfect TV sets for those of us who love our feathered friends. Glad yours is so close!! What a lovely view from your desk.
Mine is right outside my window and I love the roadshow and how the personalities of the different birds are so unique. the juncos are the best, always a few lined up and on guard for the rest until it's their turn.
Blue Jays are the bullies.
Enjoy!!

You make me smile..
I love your desk by the window and what a view! Is that corn just beyond?
Not a temperature I could cop with; my heart doesn’t like heat and humidity.
My bird feeder is close to the kitchen window and it’s really enjoyable to watch the constant coming and going.
the finches in my yard have been busy-busy at the feeder; their constant activity is indeed a mesmerizing pleasure to watch.
those sweltering days are hard on them too! I am sure that you have been enjoying these cooler mornings--peculiar but welcome for the end of July.
Nan, yes that is a corn field
in front of cottage. Wanted very little lawn :) Friko :) and
Nancy thank you for visiting.
Did like the super hot days
and this morning opened windows
to let fresh air in as summer weather to continue probably tomorrow :)
