How Can This Be Possible

grandma, looks back over 15 years
and now, you saved your money, a good buy on a car and you will be driving next year
how can 15 years go by so quickly...

It's such a cliche, but time really does fly, doesn't it?

Scary, isn't it?

My husband could do without me saying that phrase, ("Time flies, doesn't it?"), to him...but when HE says it to me--I'm supposed to be like:
"You made that up yourSELF?? My you are a genius, My Beloved---I've never heard it put that way before in my life!!"

Hahahahaha! We damsels in distress...

Sometimes, I just have to let him flex his "mental muscles" around me. I guess.

Hope you're feeling good, Ernestine. I loved the pictures..you're all beautiful.

Oh, would you include my grandson, David, in your prayers? He is having serious depression and pain with having Crohn's disease and all that goes with it. He just turned 13, and he's reading all that he sees, and figures it's a death knoll. We're up here with our son and his family--trying to be the huggers, kissers, and carers, and grandparents. And, our son's and DIL's support.Thank you in advance.

Marcie and Judy, oh yes.
Bluebird, it is happening and will remember your grandson
I have something similar, take medication for it
but mine did not start really bad until 15 years ago.
some through the years, so much stress with marriage, divorce and then on my own for 40 yrs.
So sorry for he is so young.

I like to look at the memories and consider them a blessing for having had a long life full of good people!

Loved your pics and stories of your bountiful garden. I say "time is a gift, bestowed on so few". I savour each moment. We get to see our grandchildren blossom and grow.

Hope this finds you well, Ernestine, keep meaning to write but have been in a fair amount of pain lately, and my fingers are not working very well.

It is astonishing how fast life moves along and how quickly our grandchildren grow up, right in front of our eyes.
Your granddaughter is beautiful.

Strange isn't it that some times in our lives seem to go on forever. Then we reach a time and we wonder where the years have gone. Do take care of yourself as best you can.
