A NEW IDEA

Morning on computer
and just received email from my son.

A friend makes this

Sliced banana
cinnamon
butter
on toast.

This big tea drinker
will have to try....

Neighbor was able to get truck out of ice
late yesterday as I never could.

Some help early this morning
with picking up limbs, burn brush pile
and snow off rest of walks.

Computer off
and my day begins....

I just found your blog and can so relate. I am 72, about to be 73 in the spring. i was very active and pretty healthy till last year when I had to have some surgeries! And also hurt my back. All of a sudden it makes me look at life very differently. Its good to see you are doing well back in the woods! You are a brave woman!

Have I told you how much I love that photo of your reflection in the window? It is so appropriate as you reflect on your life. YAY--first day of March--I think we made it through another long winter.

Glad you've gotten some help with the truck and debris. Stay warm - drink some tea!

I am curious Ernestine, do you do anything when you eat your lovely meals?

I tend to read which I suppose is not the best.

Lovely recipes. I hope you got the truck out of trouble!

When I eat
I do nothing
try to empty mind
look at candles
and do ring the bells
if mind unsetteled.
You should not read when eating
try doing one thing at a time.

Shirley, You are young - I am now 80 and did all until 2 years ago. Not brave just followed my heart :)

Your banner photo is really intriguing and inspiring. I like it. Take it easy with your good support friends as spring is just around that loooong corner.

Thank God for good neighbors! I know that took a lot of worry off your mind. I don't try new recipes very often, but the toast looks like something we would like.
