Idle Time

So many projects I was going to finish during these shut-in days
Started a few
that is all and never finished.
Today have not felt like doing much
I stay busy but did not accomplish much.
Planned on baking
and will tomorrow when predicted snow is on the ground.
Did prepare a good second meal for the day.
Bok Choy and Cauliflower
Mushrooms
Baked potato and a small piece of a fillet

Orchid sitting in an ideal spot,
continues to bloom
and I find pleasure in blooms and color.
Will leave you with this...

Love that quote. I need to remember that.

Sallysmom, me too. Need to super enlarge, pring and sit on my desk.
The weather arriving
unsettles me, real windy and all the old trees are swaying..

Rumi touches us all. Wish he was alive in our time and we could get a better perspective. Tomorrows snow should be the last big one, so prepare to get your projects off the ground soon. Fog has moved up the river revealing the front is on its way.

Thank you for that quote from Rumi. Our weather turns very cold again tonight. After this though we may get signs of spring.

That was a wonderful quote.

The photos of your orchid are beautiful. The orchid's color and the daylight behind it make it seem to glow.

Here in Missouri, temperatures in the 50's are predicted for the weekend, and 60's by next week. I am so looking forward to the warmer temperatures. It will be a relief.
