Weather Wish You Had Not Done This

See what the continuous rain
and then wind
did to my beautiful
but not plentiful

Sunflowers...

To heavy for me to pull up and put back in ground.

So what do you do ?

Those you can salvage
you put them in a vase
to enjoy.

Beautiful! The same thing almost happened to my hollyhocks because they grew so tall. I tied them up but they were so tall the tops still bent over under the weight of the raindrops and the wind.

Have a good day!

Perfect!

And where did you get your divine stained glass that is leaning on the window?

charlotte, sharon, thank you for visiting.
mel - this beveled piece of glass was made for another home window and I brought it with me:) Lean it against this window.
A favorite of mine...

so pretty and cheerful. i hate to see flowers torn up by heavy rains. some of the lilies here have gotten too heavy to withstand wind or heavy rain and we stake them early. we've had thunderstorms for a few days, so unusual for our area. i can count on one hand the number of times in the past decade i have heard thunder!

They are so lovely, and were just begging to come in to make your sweet house even more beautiful. You made lemonade....best you can do.
